The 2012  C7 M series

(Christ 7)

The Lawler C7 has that real studio sound of the 1950's. The C7's step bore design gives you real control in the upper register and in the dynamic. The effort to go from soft to loud is minimal. The quick response is due to its hand building and stress relieved braces. Many players of vintage Martin Committee's have commented that the C7 sound is right on the mark but with modern intonation and feel.

C7-M3-1A
This Lawler C7 Standard all brass trim is one of our most popular models. The M3 bell is a 2 piece yellow brass bell with a 4 7/8" rim. Its warm full tone has the Committee color of sound everyone loves. Plus it will fit in most all playing styles. The 1A leadpipe has great intonation and a nice open blow.  My #1 bore (.460 through valves) is the most popular. However I can make this model in any bore size I offer.

Deluxe trim starts at $2500.00 in raw brass.

C7-M3R-1A
This model also is a very popular set up in our C7 line. The taper and constrution specs are the same as the model above only the M3R bell is made of red brass for warmer tone color. However this bell will cut out over a section when pushed.
Price starts at $2100.00 in standard trim, raw brass.
Deluxe trim starts at $2500.00, raw brass.
Brush Lacquer adds $175.00
Silver plate adds $250.00

C7-M4-1A
This Lawler C7 set up is best suited in the #2 and #3 bores. The larger bores work well with the M4 bell. The M4 yellow brass bell will give you a nice fat full sound. The 1A leadpipe offers great intonation with a open blow. If you play in a section, lead you will find the M4 bell will blend well and will come out over the section if needed.
Price:
$2100.00 in raw brass standard trim.
$2500.00 in raw brass Deluxe trim.

Leadpipe Choices for your C7
#1 taper leapipe .340 venturi. The 1 taper is a very even taper from beginning to end. This will give you good note centers with nice slurs. The .340 venturi will have a little tighter blow.

#1A leadpipe has the 1 taper but with a .345 venturi. The more open venturi will allow for a faster air stream which in turn feels more open. It will retain great centers and exellent intonation. The 1A is my most popular leadpipe with all C7 models and bores.

#2 leadpipe taper is a faster rate of taper with a .345 venturi. The 2 taper will give you a more open feel overall. Wider note centers and fluid slurs. If you like to pump alot of air through the trumpet this is the pipe for you.
M Series Bells
M3 bell is a yellow brass 2 piece bell with a 4 7/8" rim. This bell is much like the traditional Committee bell. Same shape and constuction. It will give you that nice full sound you would expect from a Committee.

M3R bell have the same specs as the M3 only it is made of red brass. Because of it higher copper content it will have a little warmer sound than the yellow M3. However its not a dead bell it still has all the warmth and fullness you would want for that small combo or section work. This bell is one of the most popular.

M4 bell is a yellow brass 2 piece bell with a 5 inch rim and a .472 bell tail. This bell has a big full tone. Modeled after the Miles Davis set up that Martin did for him. This bell is also like what was used on all the Committee large bores.

The M4 is best suited for our #2 and #3 bore C7.
M4R bell has the same specs as the M4 but is made in red brass. It will have a warm full tone across the tonal and dymanic range. Also best fit on the #2 and #3 bore C7.
Bore sizes available for C7's

C7c
The C7c is the same specs as the C7 only it is not a step bore. Some players like the sound of the C7 Step bore but not the blow. The C7c is built in full cylindracal bore. For instance if you order a ML bore C7c it will be made with a .460 bore through-out. This is a no cost option.
